Staff: Laycee Young

I couldn’t be more excited to be starting my journey with Friends of the Children - Utah! Having grown up in Kearns, Utah, I'm grateful to be able to give back to the community through this amazing organization, and to be working alongside such a great team. I have been many things in my life but the most rewarding title I've ever been given is Mom. I previously assisted in the opening and operations of an in-home daycare. While working and interacting with children from all backgrounds, I saw how important providing a good support system is and how it can affect children, even from a young age. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and incorporating it into our community. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, cooking, baking, and experiencing new things with my kids.
