Staff: Michelle Abplanalp

Hi, I’m Michelle! I’ve spent several years working with kids and teens in preschool, school, and residential treatment settings—which means I’ve gotten pretty good at rolling with the unexpected, finding humor in just about anything, and connecting with all kinds of personalities. I’m currently studying psychology and have a passion for mental health and health education. I love creating a space where kids can be themselves, laugh, feel supported, and discover just how capable they are. Outside of work and school, I’m a big family person and love spending time with my husband and daughter—whether we’re doing arts and crafts, having a cozy movie night, or just hanging out together. You can also find me hitting the gym, playing with my dogs, getting lost in a good book, or starting yet another creative project because sitting still has never really been my thing. I’m a big believer that a little patience, a lot of connection, and a good sense of humor can go a long way!
