September 26, 2024 Honored by Generous Donor Support Friends of the Children – Utah is pleased to announce several recent grant awards! These investments will make a meaningful difference in our work, breaking cycles of generational poverty and adversity for our highest priority youth here in the Salt Lake Valley. Thank you to Call to Action Philanthropies for generously awarding a significant grant to support our program's comprehensive, multigenerational approach to improving early childhood education and mental health in our community. Call to Action Philanthropies has become a vital partner in our mission, and their recent award was particularly noteworthy for including funding specifically dedicated to the mental health and well-being of our dedicated Friends of the Children staff. The work our Friends and entire team do every day is demanding. We are deeply grateful for the thoughtful recognition from a funder who understands the importance of caring for our staff as well as those we serve. The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation played a pivotal role in our early days, providing a catalytic investment that helped launch our chapter. We are delighted to announce that the Foundation has renewed their commitment to Friends - Utah with a generous grant focused on strengthening family stability, preventing foster care involvement, and providing essential resources to the families we serve. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Clark and Christine Ivory Foundation for their substantial, multi-year support of our youth and families. As one of our founding donors, the Clark and Christine Ivory Foundation has consistently provided annual support to build and sustain our work in the community. Their incredible ongoing generosity is indispensable to our mission.
