Zach, one of our Friends, and one of the youth he mentors recently joined Mix 105.1 to talk about Friends of the Children - Utah.

One of our Friends, Zach, recently visited the Mix105.1 studio to talk about our 12+ year commitment to the youth we serve, the data behind Friends of the Children’s long-term outcomes, and how our Salt Lake Valley community can support youth who have big dreams but face big challenges.

Zach shared why Friends of the Children is different from other mentoring organizations and the powerful difference a consistent, caring relationship can make in a child’s life.

One of the youth Zach mentors even joined in to talk about the activities he enjoys doing with Zach, what he loves to draw, and why he wants to be an artist – or a radio host! – when he grows up!
