We are thrilled to share exciting news: our own Executive Director, Kelsey Lewis, has been appointed to the National Board of Directors for Friends of the Children! Kelsey is one of two executive directors from across the national network selected to serve.

This honor reflects both her leadership in Utah and her commitment to ensuring every child has the consistent, caring mentorship they deserve. Since late 2022, Kelsey has led Friends-Utah with vision and heart. She has grown enrollment to 62 youth, led initiatives to strengthen and stabilize families and improve youth literacy, and built the diversified revenue needed to scale our chapter, so we can serve more youth who need a dedicated professional mentor for 12+ years, no matter what.

Her seat at the national table means the voices and experiences of Utah’s children and families will help shape the future of Friends of the Children across the country.

We are proud of Kelsey, grateful for her leadership, and excited for what this means for our growing impact.
